Founded in 1856, our Church was established on the ideals of giving people a chance to learn, grow, and define their own relationship with God through worship. Becoming a church member means joining a family who is devoted to expressing their love of God by faith.
Pastor Jabare J. Smith
Pastor Jabare J. Smith has been a pivotal member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church family since 2003. He has been a member, musician, minister of music, minister, and Associate Pastor before been installed as our Senior Pastor on July 30, 2023. Pastor Smith is committed to the spiritual growth and maturity of the Rocky Mount body and is looking forward to seeing each member and the ministry FLY!!
